Campli is situated on a hill between the valleys of the Fiumicino and Siccagno torrents. Rich in architectural monuments that make it a real city of art, Campli is home to a section of the National Archaeological Museum which houses the remains of the Necropolis of Campovalano. The famous Scala Santa, so called because, after 1776 the custom of granting indulgence to those who walked on its knees spread.

Atri

Atri was a city of great prestige in the ancient world, since the 11th and 12th centuries BC It was the only city on the Adriatic coast to coin money before Rome, as well as an important center of trade, thanks to its port on the Adriatic, hence the thesis that the name of the sea itself derives from ancient Hatria. The glorious past of Atri is witnessed by the archaeological finds scattered throughout the surrounding area.

Teramo

The origins of the city of Teramo are very ancient as evidenced by the Roman Theater of 30 BC with the nearby Amphitheater and the ancient Church of Sant'Anna. In the heart of the city is the Cathedral Basilica of 1158 with important works by Abruzzo artists. The Monica Castle, which can be visited only from the outside, dates back to medieval times with its own very characteristic village. Teramo also houses the Archaeological Museum and Municipal Art Gallery in addition to the Astronomical Observatory of Colleurania a few kilometers from the historic center. From a gastronomic point of view the virtues are famous, prepared with seven varieties of dried vegetables, fresh vegetables, pasta and meat served as a traditional dish on May 1st. With the scrippelle instead, tasty soups are prepared such as the scrippelle'mbusse sautéed in a pan and served in chicken broth.

Ascoli Piceno

Not far from Civitella del Tronto, it is possible to make excursions in the Gole del Salinello. A natural environment that combines history, culture and nature between the two sides of the Twin Mountains: Montagna di Campli and Montagna dei Fiori. The creator of this natural monument was the Salinello Torrent which, acting on the entire mountain, has built over millions of years, a few kilometers long gorge, about 200 meters high and varying in width from not more than five meters to tens of meters, resulting in waterfalls, caves and cavities.
